Lightwind Trickery

Entry level boards aren't just for entry level, as Glenn shows by railriding the 100cm wide Starboard Start. They are great to learn on since they are wide, stable, and have an EVA deck, but boards like the Bic Nova, Fanatic Viper, Bic 293, F2 Discovery or Starboard Rio are also great for freestyle and light wind planing once you improve.

Hi, may I recommend that the normal, windward railride is easier than the leeward railride on these boards? Reason is that the foot of the sail doesn't get in the way of the board, plus easier to get 2 feet on rail. Plus it's not lightwind move per se, railriding works on 10+ knots easily. I post instructional freestyle videos for mid- and longboards, if ever you're interested in joining interests.

Cheers,
P.
