This little slice of windsurf paradise is a gorgeous alcove of blue water surrounded by lush grassy hills.  Wellington is also known to be one of the windiest cities in the world which is an almost perfect spot for windsurfing as it's winds are sure to carrying you over the waves with great ease. While it's not suggested for beginner windsurfers, any veteran water man would find themselves navigating this harbor with ease in no time.

The climate in Wellington, New Zealand is a temperate marine one, is generally moderate all year round, and rarely sees temperatures rise above 25 °C (77 °F), or fall below 4 °C (39 °F). The hottest recorded temperature in the city is 31.1 °C (88 °F), while -1.9 °C (28 °F) is the coldest. The city is notorious however for its southerly blasts in winter, which may make the temperature feel much colder.
