The event had some of the world's top freestyle windsurfers invading the coast off of Sorbon Beach, Dutch Netherlands Antilles for some intense windsurfing action. The 25 knot trade wins made for an exciting freestyle windsurf finale with Steven Van Broeckhoven and Kiri Thode fighting it out for the top spot. An unfortunate spill by Steven set him back a little which allowed Kiri to pull ahead with a strong win over the rest of the heat. The combination of high performance windsurf sails from Gaastra and the expertise of the rest of the Team had members placing 4 out of the top 7 spots in the Men's division with Sarah-Quinta Offringa taking the top spot in the women's division. The Bonaire PWA was a great event. I found it covered on Epikoo and I checked out some vids and pics. What are the upcoming windsurfing events this year?
