Team Gaastra Has Strong Showing at 2011 Bonaire PWA Event

Gaastra continues it's championship winning 2011 PWA World Tour run with an another amazing showing at the 2011 Bon Aire which was held on June 12th-June 16th. The event had some of the world's top freestyle windsurfers invading the coast off of Sorbon Beach, Dutch Netherlands Antilles for some intense windsurfing action. The 25 knot trade wins made for an exciting freestyle windsurf finale with Steven Van Broeckhoven and Kiri Thode fighting it out for the top spot. An unfortunate spill by Steven set him back a little which allowed Kiri to pull ahead with a  strong win over the rest of the heat. The combination of high performance windsurf sails from Gaastra and the expertise of the rest of the Team had members placing 4 out of the top 7 spots in the Men's division with Sarah-Quinta Offringa taking the top spot in the women's division. Gaastra Wins Big At Podersurf, Australia Windsurf Event

Oxbow Ride The Sky Windsurfing Event Held in April 2011

I'm sure all your windsurfing trigger fingers are itching and the urges to toss off winter coats are just getting stronger and thankfully the Oxbow Ride The Sky Event is one of first of the 2011 windsurfing season. The Oxbow Ride The Sky Event will have a focus on height rather than tricks or speed with a hope of breaking the world record for windsurfing jump height. Dozens of the world's top windsurfers will be taken to the waves at Ho'okipa Beach Park in an effort to take the windsurfing industry to new heights.
