Online Gaming With Windsurfing MMX PC Game

With the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) going on throughout this week in Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center we thought it'd be prime time to report on a windsurfing video game.  While not from Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony Windsurfing MMX is a down loadable PC game that features dozens of freestyle windsurfing moves and plenty of styles of races to compete in.  The game not only allows for you to compete for high scores and against the computer but lets you fight it out with online gaming against other virtual windsurfers for top billing across all the featured event types.

2010 US Windsurfing Championship To Be Held in San Francisco

The 2010 professional windsurfing season continue to move forward and we are fast approaching some of the biggest events.  One particular set of events we have our eyes on is the 2010 US Windsurfing Championship (also know as the North American Formula Racing Championship) which is being held July 20th-24th.  This event will be held at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, California and is officially sanctioned by the International Windsurfing Association.

Top Windsurfing Locations - Perth, Australia

Australia is one of the most popular tourist destinations and has collection of calm waters for stand-up paddle boarding and big waves and great wind for windsurfing. Australia's low amount of rainfall allows for more opportunity for getting out on the waves than almost any other vacation location on the planet. There is also a beauty within the large expanse of the diverse scenery of the outback and thousands of people flock to it for camping and walk-abouts.

Perth receives moderate though highly seasonal rainfall. Summers are generally hot and dry, lasting from December to late March, with February generally being the hottest month of the year, making Perth a classic example of a Mediterranean climate. Summer is not completely devoid of rain with sporadic rainfall in the form of short-lived thunderstorms, weak cold fronts and on very rare occasions decaying tropical cyclones from Western Australia's north-west which can bring significant falls. On most summer afternoons a sea breeze blows from the south-west, providing relief from the hot north-easterly winds. Temperatures often fall below 30 degrees a few hours after the arrival of the wind change. Winters are relatively cool and wet, with most of Perth's annual rainfall falling between May and September.
